In 2014, Texas native Derrik Davis opened The Davis Agency, bringing a full-service, forward-thinking real estate concept to the Austin and Houston markets. After graduating from University of Houston’s prestigious Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management, Derrik made his first real estate investment, buying a house in Houston’s historic-turned-hip Heights neighborhood. The experience left him enamored with the home-purchasing process, from initial hunt to final closing. Considering it a calling, he acquired his salesperson license in 2006, working with several of Austin’s top firms while establishing a reputation as a well-respected and innovative agent. Servicing two of Texas’ top sought-after markets, Derrik works primarily with development investors and new luxury construction. A devoted Austinite since 1994, he has intimate knowledge of the city’s competitive landscape, having successfully navigated the city’s booming market growth first-hand. A Longhorn football fan and local food scene enthusiast, Derrik resides in Austin’s Barton Hills neighborhood with his wife, daughter and son.
